This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected across mossvale.net and the Services operated under it, how it's used, and your choices. It's written to apply broadly across current and future Services under this domain, since not every Service collects the same information.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on which Service you use, we may collect:

• Account information: a username, and a securely hashed password, for Services that require an account. We do not store passwords in plain text.
• Content you provide: anything you create, upload, or submit within a Service (for example, saved data, collections, or messages within that Service's own features).
• Third-party credentials you choose to link: some Services let you connect an external account (for example, an API key for a third-party site, or signing in with a provider like Google) so the Service can act on your behalf. These are stored only to provide that functionality.
• Usage and activity data: how you interact with a Service - for example, searches, reactions, or engagement with content - where a Service uses this to provide a feature (such as personalized recommendations).
• Device and session information: identifiers used to keep you signed in and to distinguish one session from another.
• Standard technical logs: IP address, timestamps, user agent, and similar request metadata, collected automatically by standard web server and content-delivery infrastructure (including Cloudflare) for operating and securing the Services. This is normal server operation, not a tracking feature we've added.

We do not use advertising trackers or sell your personal information to third parties.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

• Operate, maintain, and provide the features of each Service.
• Provide personalization features that are an explicit part of a Service (for example, content recommendations based on your own activity within that Service).
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
• Communicate with you about a Service, if you've provided a way to contact you and it's relevant (for example, a support request).

3. Third-Party Processors

Some Services are built on third-party infrastructure, which processes data on our behalf as part of operating the Service - for example, Cloudflare (content delivery/security) and Supabase (backend data storage). If a Service offers sign-in through a provider like Google, that provider processes your authentication according to its own privacy policy, and we only receive the profile information needed to create/sign in to your account (such as your email and name).

4. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account or use of a Service is active, or as long as needed to provide that Service, unless a longer retention period is required by law. You can request deletion of your account/data as described below.

5. Your Choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information associated with a Service by contacting us at the address below. We'll respond and act on verifiable requests within a reasonable time.

6. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Services change or are added. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
